2. Do you wear heavy(like the ones in cath lab) or light lead protectors?

I realized that your question has not been relied yet since not everyone in here is GI doc. We have limited knowledge on this subject. :eek:
 
Depend on indication of ERCP. Generally there is short exposure time (<5minutes) for routine stone cases. Remember, the only time you need it is the cholangiogram. Once get it, its pretty much done. I usually use the thinner one. Also remember the amount of radiation is proportional to the distance, so generally, I stand at least an arms length away from the patient.
