PSLF

Planning on doing pain fellowship. Is it worth it to apply to PSLF? It seems like most jobs out there are private practice jobs and they would not qualify for PSLF. I believe some of the HOPD jobs would qualify but definitely not all. Any pain docs that actually went through PSLF and had their loans successfully forgiven?

Usually, pain docs make enough money to just pay their loans off.

my colleague got a significant portion of his loans forgiven last year. he wasn't counting on it and was surprised when it happened.

Most pain docs make too much and won’t have anything left to forgive at the end of 10 years.
