I was just wondering how one would prepare for their prelim/transitional interviews versus their anesthesia ones? I would imagine they would be very similar bar the emphasis on "Why anesthesiology?" Any thoughts?:)

I was curious too...what do they ask at prelim interviews?
'Just to get to know you' stuff?
I don't expect them to be totally different from anesthesia interviews but would like to know what questions have been asked before...just to lower my anxiety..... Thanks!

haven't been on too many, so can't really say i know what i'm talking about, but i was asked:

why this program?
why this location?
why prelim medicine (vs. transitional vs. surg)? what do you want to get out of this year?
what do you think you will add to the program?
how do you learn best?

then,
tell me about yourself
3 adjectives your best friend would use to describe you
best trait, weakness...etc. (a lot of the same ones we've seen before)

good luck!
