just wondering, has anyone been recieving invites to transition years or prelim years...or is it straight categorical for now?? just wondering...if any of you have revcieved prelim or ty invites, could you please post where...thanks

They're a-comin in! So far I've heard from Winthrop (NY) which is a prelim program and Morristown (NJ) which is a transitional. good luck to all!

OK, I am diving in.
I am starting to really freak out, sent my applications on 10/3 following credentials
IMG, step1 99, step 2 96, ECFMG ceritified, good LOR, 3 publications.
as of now, have received 2 rejections and no invitations.

please tell me I am not the only one and that I will hear from some of the programs :-(

I had most letters, USMLE scores, and app in 9/1. Final letters and transcript in the second week of Sept.

From what I heard when I scheduled/through the grapevine from current TYs, most progs were just beginning to look things over. I wouldn't sweat it if you haven't heard yet, but I hope that you have. Best of luck - maybe we'll run across each other on the interview trail!
