Hi everyone! I'm a rising senior and taking a gap year after graduation (i.e., not applying this cycle). I'm thinking of doing a post-bacc during my gap year and am a little confused as to how it works... if I go into a post-bacc should I still apply next cycle and would I interview during the post-bacc? Do I complete my post-bacc and then apply afterwards, which would mean I take another year before med school? Any clarification on how the timeline usually goes down for post-bacc students would be much appreciated!

Answer depends on what you are trying to accomplish with the PB.
If you are trying to raise your GPA, then you won't have your final grades in if you are interviewing during the PB.
If your GPA is fine and you are doing the PB to finish the prereqs, then you can interview during your PB and only have to have the prereqs finished by time of matriculation...
