How much training have you had in managing psych conditions in pregnancy?

  • None. I feel very uncomfortable managing psych meds and refer out all cases.

Hey

I'm a psych resident interested in peripartum psychiatry. Question for the residents: How comfortable are you prescribing drugs and managing psychiatric conditions in your pregnant patients? Do you feel like you get enough training in this area? Thanks.
