So I've seen a few independent plastics residencies that take from gen surg, ortho, ENT, as well as urology and neurosurg - has anyone heard of anyone doing a plastic residency after urology residency (besides this Dr. Alter I've seen)? I imagine it's an unlikely road; just interested in hearing how this might work out.

It might be an interesting road to reconstructive/cosmetic urology besides doing a reconstructive fellowship. Thinking congenital issues, labiaplasty; things like that.

My understanding was that a pediatric urology fellowship was sufficient to handle most congenital reconstructive issues.
