Navy Planning on visiting NMC San Diego. What do I need?

I will be visiting san diego on spring break for a couple of days and was wondering if I could just walk into the base (NMC san diego) and dental clinic with my DoD id? who should I contact if I would like to get a tour of the clinic?

If you have an ID you can go on base. But you'd need to check with the clinic OIC or department head if you wanted to visit the clinic. I wouldn't bother.
