Hi I would like to do a PGY4 heart failure fellowship in the hopes of securing a spot into the in house fellowship the following year.

Can someone provide some resources on programs that have a good reputation in this aspect (a list, perhaps).

My on-paper application is not the strongest (poor research, I am an IMG applicant). I have a strong work ethic and would like to see if this may be an option to match into Cardiology.

Is it wise to begin contact programs now (I am PGY2)?

Hackensack
- you get some procedure exposure too ie RHC in the lab
- I believe they have their own ACGME fellowships and if not at their main campus, other sites such as JSMC also have card fellowship spots

Would you say they look pretty positively on PGY4 applicants.

How do I contact them to let them know that I am interested?
