I am applying this year for residency positions and am coming up with some serious writers block. I havent written anything creative in years. Does anyone have any good resources for writing personal statements, or any websites with examples? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

I had the same problem. Try medfools.com. It has some specific "don't do" suggestions, and lots of examples of "good" personal statements.

These are sites I found by random googling last year when I was applying. I always found that sample personal statements were just as helpful as do's and dont's. Try googling "sample ERAS personal statment" or something like that. A lot of schools have really helpful information on their websites.

I had the same problem but, just sat down and started and found that things flowed better then expected.
