Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows any perks of how to get free textbooks or other useful stuff while in residency? I know some reps sometimes provide books, or let you get a book a year etc. What other options are available to get some of those expensive textbooks without emptying out your GME fund?

P.S. is there a way to get the AAMOS resident handbook for free?

Email aaoms for handbook, and check out "Johnson & Johnson Institute’s Online Learning Program". You take random modules, earn points, and cash them in for books.
Thanks. I recent heard about the Johnson institute and that's what made me wonder if there were more similar programs out there.

also, when you start residency someone will share a google drive account with you, which has so many books that you will never read
I think my coresidents have one. I'll have to look into it when I get the chance. Was just wondering if there was anything I should take advantage of as a resident.
Thanks :)
