May I ask if this person had lots of extracurricular activities? I have slightly higher GPA but exact DAT scores and 300+ shadowing hours and tons of extracurriculars. It is reassuring to hear that schools accept people with those numbers that are considered low.

In my last cycle, no interviews at all. Applied to 15+

I have been accepted to 2 schools and I haven't decided which one yet. Also, I'm not URM.
I would also like to mention I took my DAT before I started my masters. I recommend people who are going to the masters route to take your DAT after (or during) your masters. You learn so much at such a fast pace. Studying for the DAT would've been so much easier.

I applied on 11/28/16 and somehow snagged an interview and got accepted. I'm a non-trad doing a career change so I'm guessing that made them interested. Who knows but I'm excited to be part of the class of 2021!

Thanks for giving me some hope! I just did my DAT today and have similar stats and scores, but A&M is literally the only school I can attend (so thankfully it's a great one). I'm a nontrad with tons of work/shadow/volunteering hours, but I know the numbers are going to hurt my chances. :(

Not in contact anymore but I’m sure if you post on the MWU AZ thread or make a general pre-dental post, you’ll be able to get your questions answered!
