Good luck to everyone here waiting. I feel like I'm in Times Square counting down and waiting for the ball to drop when I visit this thread. I am starting dental school in the fall and am very interested in pediatic dentistry and was wondering if you guys and gals could give me some insight. Currently I am trying to decide between Loma Linda and UNLV but also waitlisted at ASDOH and U. at Buffalo and I'm wondering which school might give me more experience with pediatrics and/or possibly a better in road to pediatrics over the others? After going through the process this year and with all your wealth of knowledge and wisdom from being in D school for four years I would appreciate any advice you have. PM or post and I'll check back here. Thanks!

To be honest, I don't think the school matters. Do well where ever you go, get involved with the pediatric dentistry dept there, and apply. Even more importantly, try to do some dentistry on kids, and see if you like it.

The first match day this cycle, i received my email at 8:20am central time...tho i know in previous years some got it an hour or so earlier

I have never opened an email with such anxiety

Are any of you hearing from schools? I just heard from Jacobi, saying my application was complete and that it will be under review. Are you all getting similar emails from schools? I would imagine it is just common courtesy. Oh, well. It beats a rejection letter.
