Looking at previous year threads, rejections were sent, typically a little later in the cycle

Please also include additional dates of interviews to any of the programs already listed, so we can compile the subsequent waves of interview invites. Also, per personal communication with the PD at one of the largest pedi GI programs, they have barely begun reviewing applications. Still a long way to go in the season!

I'll be honest, I can't recall all the dates but here are a list of mine so far in no particular order: UCSD, Utah, Seattle, Columbia, SUNY, Rainbow babies, Johns Hopkins, UT Houston, UT Memphis, LSU, Mercy, Northwestern, MUSC, BCM - SA, Michigan, Iowa, OU, UAB.

And just for context, I'm a DO applicant. Unfortunately, that really matters, especially for a lot of the larger programs...

Haven't gotten any rejections yet. But some of my friends going for other specialties have.

Also this forum is giving me anxiety seeing places I haven't heard from giving out interviews...

I am an IMG and I only got very few invites from the list above. Any other IMG in house?

Not IMG, but I will say 18 interviews this early in the season is not the norm! You're certainly not alone, most programs are still reviewing applications and haven't sent out any notifications.
 
Correction, UVA called me and offered an interview early this morning but I didn't answer and they left a VM. Tried to call back, no response. They said they'd email me, but haven't got anything...

I applied to 10 total, but I had to update my application (stupidly forgot to assign USMLE transcript...). Hopefully programs review my app again and more come in later.

Would urge you to email the program directors/coordinators and inform them that the USMLE transcript has been assigned. Not everyone scans the applications regularly to see if missing documents have been assigned.

Has anyone heard from Boston, Cincinnati or Texas Children's?
 
Just curious, is everyone getting these "still reviewing applications" emails, or should I take the fact that I'm not getting them as a sign that I've missed the cut and probably won't be getting interviews at these programs?
 
No, those were in response to my emails when I alerted programs about a letter that was uploaded late. They were not emails sent to everybody. Hang in there!

Just got Sinai today.

myERAS was under maintenance for a while. Maybe that was holding back some invites that used myERAS instead of personal email for invites?
 
Has anyone heard anything from Boston, Yale, Cincinnati or Texas Children's?

UCSF rejection - We have gone through our initial screening of applicants and have scheduled interviews for those whom we deemed most qualified for our program. However, we are keeping a secondary list and will contact you later this fall if we decide to proceed with your application.
