hey.. how many times or how do you know when you should retake the pcat?

and if retaken, how long should you wait till you take another one?

is that seen as bad to retake the pcat?? what do admissions think?

i think you can take pcat next time it is offered. if you took it in october, i think the next one is in jan. or march. i think there is no written law saying that how many times you can retake it, but if you really cannot get a good score by 3rd try, then i would question yourself. i do not know what your score is but try to aim at least 83 ~ 87 percentile composite. that should make you competitve candidate.

One more thing about retaking the PCAT. When I retook the PCAT a few years ago, the test was EXACTLY THE SAME as the first one I took a few months before that, word for word. I always wondered why that was, and as a result I scored similarly on it.
