hi, do you think a regular joe BA in say biology, will allow you to start work as a PA/? what are the requirements..does it depend on the doctor?

no. you might have an easier time getting in to pa school that someone with a ba in english lit.
pa is licensed. there is also a standardized certification.

You need to visit AAPA.org, you will find links to accredited PA programs there. Each school has their own set of prerequisites and requirements, so check it out. Good luck! :)

Following-up Monika's post, you may want to gain some clinical experience (some schools require up to 2,000 clinical hours) before applying to PA schools. Research the schools that interest you, find out their requirements, do those requirements, apply, and cross fingers.

Are you asking if you can start working as a PA that has graduated with a BA?


Or just a BA in Bio without going to PA school?:confused:
