1) Great opportunity to develop an Interventional Pain practice within a Spine focused group! Group focused on Spine Care seeks Interventional Pain Management physician. Currently, the group consists of 2 Ortho-Spine Surgeons, 1 Interventional Pain PMR, 1 general PMR, 1 Chiropractor-Acupuncture, and 3 PA’s. They are adding a second Interventional PMR to replace one that recently moved away, so the volume is there. They are also adding another Spine Surgeon also due to volume. You would focus on Pain doing Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic procedures, and if you would like you can also do pumps and stims, etc. They have an in-house pain suite, and they are affiliated with a surgi-center one floor down in the building. They have x-ray, MRI, O-arm, PT in house as well. They would like someone to do EMG also, but it is not absolutely required. You would get a competitive guarantee base salary , and a bonus which would be up to 50% collected after overhead is taken out. Partnership track as fast as 12 months for the right candidate. Located on the Mid-East Coast of Florida the population draw area is over 500,000. Orlando is a short drive away. The area has an airport served by at least one major US carrier, and Orlando’s major airport is easily within reach.

2) Two new job openings for Physiatrists in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. Group of four Physiatrists is looking for one general PMR, and/or one Interventional PMR. The generalist would focus on outpatient rehab, musculoskeletal, emg, and inpatient consults. Hopitalists on duty do most of the work, and there is No Call! Currently the practice is booked out 9 weeks for patients so they need help asap. You would be busy from day one. They work out of a brand new hospital with state of the art facilities. The pain physician would spend 50% of their time doing procedures, and the rest doing outpatient rehab, musculoskeletal , maybe emg's. The pain suite is across the hall from the office. Anesthesia is available. Procedures are usually scheduled for 1/2 days. Fellowship training required by hospital which owns the pain suite. Competitive salary for both positions. Bonus, and benefits. Fast track option for partnership available. Track 1-3 years. Ann Arbor is the home of the University of Michigan which provides an abundance of cultural and athletic activities. This bedroom community of Ann Arbor is just a few miles away and has a population of 75,000. You could live in either.

3) New opportunity in eastern North Carolina for an Interventional, or non-interventional Physiatrist. Orthopedic multi-specialty group seeking a Physiatrist for outpatient musculoskeletal rehab, EMG, evaluations, and non-interventional procedures. Ability to do Interventional procedures is a possibility also. Group offers generous salary, production bonus, benefits, profit share, partnership track. Live in the coastal region of the state with mild four season climate, and great warm weather fun!

4) Greater New York City opportunity for Interventional Pain and rehab! Group of Physiatrists with a busy practice in Northern New Jersey just outside of Newark, with a satellite office in the Bronx, NY seeks Interventional Pain physician. They have a large component of pain management including interventional pain procedures, and there is a small component of chronic pain patients. The focus is on Interventional Pain, and the other components can be discussed for the right person. The base salary range would be in the low 200's with a bonus plan based on RVU's, benefits, and partnership. Ideally, they would like someone that would also do office rehab, maybe emg's, and in a perfect world share call for hospital consults. Those components can be negotiable depending on your flexibility.

5) Great opportunity to develop an Interventional Pain opportunity jus a few short hours to New York City, or Montreal! New York opportunity for Interventional Pain Management provider. Join a large multi-specialty physician group. Located in satellite offices outside of Albany, NY which is just two hours from both the world class cities of New York City, and Montreal, Canada. Situated on the Hudson River with a city population of 98,000 and a metro-regional population of 870,000. Low cost of living. It has a private medical college, a law, and pharmacy college, SUNY-Albany, and several other colleges in the area, as well as being the Capital of the state. Diverse population. Airport served by 6 airlines. Base salary and bonus with full benefits. Do 100% pain, emg’s desirable, but not required. Partnership in 2 years. Full benefits. Ownership potential in ASC. Work in newly opened satellite offices.

6) Live near Austin, but practice in a less competetive market! Pain and Spine practice forty minutes from Austin, TX seeks a second pain management Physiatrist. The practice does some emg (owner doesnt like emg so you could do all of those), musculoskeletal rehab, but most of the referrals are for pain (interventional lumbar, and cervical and non-interventional). The structure would be an employed position with a yearly base plus a bonus structure that would rise each of the first three years to a maximum of 75% of collections. The first year you would get the base+25% collections, year 2 base +50%, year 3 and beyond base plus 75%. Building an ASC and ownership is available. Many candidates want to be in the major cities of Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston. Its hard to find a great practice situation these days in those overcrowded areas. This position for some, may have the best of both worlds. Proximity to Austin, yet still in a smaller town which has a draw of several hundred thousand, but not as much competition, plus room to grow.
