PA in New Jersey

Hi everyone!!!

I decided to go to school in the northeast and when my GF finishes her PA rotations she plans on moving here to NJ. Right now I live in Fairfield which is in Essex County.

My questions are as follow:

Will it be easy or hard for her to get a job up here?

How much should she expect to make?

enter physician assistant in the search field. they currently have 9 pages of jobs all over the country. there is also a pa job link at www.aapa.org
salary depends on specialty and area. er/ortho/surgery in that area probably 60k+ to start. fp/peds/im probably 50k+, more in a rural area.lots of jobs in pennsylvania so look there too. good luck
