Quick question.. once your app is sent from AADSAS, does it go straight to the dental schools the same day or does this take time as well?

According to the old forums it seems like the verified GPAs a lot faster during previous application cycles. Wonder what is slowing them down this year

I heard from an admissions counselor today that they are about 2-3 weeks behind because of the excessive load of applicants this year :(

Nit picking question: I'm submitted and verified, but my DAT scores are probably 10 days away from being uploaded. I want to add 2 more schools to my application, though. To minimize confusion, should I add those schools now, or add them right after I'm notified my scores are up?

I believe you have to tell DAT to send the scores to each school, so I'd make sure that was taken care of. After that, I'm not sure it matters, so I'd add them sooner rather than later. Just curious, when did you submit and when were you verified?

No they do not verify on weekends.
Yes it seems that they only mail out on fridays.
I submitted 8/12 and got verified on 9/14. You should be verified by the 20th or 21st.

How long is it taking everyone to receive e-mail notifications from schools stating that they have received your app once your application has been mailed out? I have heard from six out of nine and it has been about a week.

My app was mailed on Oct 01 and I got email from Louisville, Marquette and Baylor A&M today Oct 02.
 
I'm starting to get nervous because I have not heard from anyone yet except that my applications are all complete.

On the portal under school decisions there is a "decision date" next to each school. What does that mean? Some say dates that have already passed. I never noticed this before

That just means the last time they updated with the current status, was on that date written.
