I'm confused about the point of this thread, other than to scare the people who didn't get many interviews...

First of all, a thread doesn't have to have a point-many don't.
At this point it has 300+ views so it must be of interest to people. I have seen many of the same people on the interview trail and was curious how many interviews people are going on. If anything, this is encouraging since the person with 17 interviews can only go to one program in the end.

Sorry to offend or scare anybody with this thread. My advice-just don't read it.

neutron reaper - i agree with you...a thread like this is of interest and i actually think it does have a point. as a current applicant it helps to see how many interviews other people are getting to gauge where i stand and also makes me feel better that many of the same people are getting the interviews...
