Hi, I'm new, but I kinda like this forums.
Here is my question, its from Princeton review CD:
When glucose reacts with Benedict's reagent, it is oxidized. Which of the following is the most likely product?
A) An alkane B) A carboxylate C) An acetal D) An epoxide
Sorry but what is the answer and what MCAT concept does it cover (I know its O.Chem but which concept in O.chem), so I can study it because I do not understand it at all.
Please and thank you.
