Thanks. They sent me a secondary today and was trying to figure out if its worth paying the $80. I realized today that they heavily select NY residents. I also don't have a DO letter so not sure if I stand out as an OOS applicant.

If you feel that you want to apply and you’re competitive, I would go for it. I don’t believe they require a DO letter either.

Do you know if they give preference to northeast? My home state is in Connecticut but I'm living in Tennessee right now. NYIT is one of my top choices cause it'll be close to home

I’ve heard there’s a bias for Northeast applicants but I’m not sure. There may be some truth in that tho
