I have an international friend looking in to Med school, any tips that I might give him, being an international student. I am assuming, you might not be though. Good luck to you. Texas people are pretty friendly, you just need to look for people with your same interests. If you are quite, maybe look for someone like you to study with or something like that. I had an international student as a roommate in college, and we became friends, and learned a lot about each others country customs, etc. Good luck
