University of Utah, Department of Dermatology has an opening for a clinical research fellow starting this July 2006 under the direction of Dr. Gerald G. Krueger, for active participation in investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical trials.

The fellow’s primary role will be to see patients participating in several psoriasis clinical trials. Responsibilities include screening, enrollment, history taking & physical examination, and data collection. There is also ample opportunity to create independent research projects, present your work at regional and national meetings and publish findings.

Fellows attend clinic 3 half-days per week with Dr. Krueger, and are encouraged to participate in grand rounds, basic science lectures, and are well integrated into the department.

The fellowship is a 1-2 year position. Payment is commensurate to a PGY-2 level. Dr. Krueger is a world-renowned expert in psoriasis, and a wonderful mentor. Salt Lake City is a great place to live, providing ample cultural and outdoor activities (skiing, hiking, etc.).

Applicants must have completed at least an internship, be licensed or preferably be eligible for licensure.

Dr. Krueger has a track record for matching all his fellows. ALL previous fellows have matched into dermatology programs.

If you are interested, please send a copy of your CV to Dr. Gerald Krueger at [email protected]

If you have any questions, please call the current fellow Amro Motaal at 801-581-6465 or email at [email protected]
