This applies to Irish and EU students who take the Irish Leaving Certificate only, as for Irish and EU students who take A-levels or IB, it does not apply at this stage, but my understanding is that it may in the future.



The Academic Councils of the four Universities with undergraduate medical schools, NUI Galway, TCD, UCC and UCD together with the RCSI have given their approval for new selection criteria for undergraduate entry to Medicine which adds a new test dimension to the traditional Leaving Certificate entry route.[/B]

It'll never apply for international students anyway. You guys get in with much lower grades and $$$.
