Curious what people's approach is for neutropenia and injection. I couldn't find much literature out there beyond the increased risk for infection. Had a patient that was incidentally discovered to have neutropenia on blood work by family doc and they were booked for epidural. They had no infection and are healthy otherwise. My plan was to cancel any injection until it's resolved, if it doesn't resolve would you still offer injection and document increased risk of infection or just cancel altogether?
