Need to know landmark trials?

Do cardiology fellowship programs expect applicants to be knowledgeable of landmark trials? Can applicants get pimped during interviews?

I'm aware of some of the landmark trials in cardiology, but not well versed. I have read quick summaries or other papers that will allude to these trials, but never the actual manuscripts.

Speaking as an incoming fellow...I hope they don't! I honestly don't know many trials. I figured learning about trials, etc is something you do in fellowship.
