Hello,
I hope you are well. I applied to IUP with it being my top choice. I graduated with a 3.94 and had many extracurricular activities, some research experience, and 5 1/2 years of
Clinical experience. On Friday I received a denial letter and I am curious to hear the stats of
Those who have received an interview.

Thank you.

Hello,
I received an interview from IUP on Dec 28. Here's my stats:
3.83 B.S. in Psychology. 1 year clinical work in undergrad working directly with children and teens with anxiety. Currently in my second year as a clinical research assistant at a medical school (post graduation). I work with seriously ill patients and their caregivers.

It sounds like you have great stats and lots of experiences. I hope you don't get discouraged by the rejection letter! The school I currently work at is geographically close to IUP so I wonder if that may be another factor that I got an interview. (Since IUP is rather rural and perhaps they want people who will actually come to their program).

Best of luck with the rest of your application!
