Need a shadowing/ clinical program ASAP!

Hey guys,
I find it very difficult to find any internships, or shadowing or anything in USA hospitals for med students who are studying abroad. Even though i am a us citizen its feels like its impossible. I try to email the HR and doctors offices but they simply dunt answer back. Is there any other way to get shadowing or internships or clinical s in USA?

PS: im at the point of start to look at clinical programs in UK ( if i find some )
