Listen, you can call yourself Captain Underpants if you want. If you misrepresent yourself to patients in a way that makes them believe you are a licensed physician, you are breaking the law.

For example, a registered nurse who graduates from a Caribbean medical school but can't for whatever reason get a medical license cannot introduce him/herself as "doctor" when treating patients.
