sorry if this has already been posted before...
i'm looking at various masters-level epidemiology programs, and i've noticed that at some schools epidemiology is an mph program (cal-berkeley) and at others it is an ms or mhs program (harvard and hopkins). is there any difference in the way these degrees are received by people? i am working on my md right now, and as silly as it sounds i think the md, mph has a nicer ring to it than the md, ms. however, i'm not one to pick a degree program for such a dumb reason as "it looks better." i want to go where the training will be the best and earn a degree that will be well-received by potential employers. is there any difference between these degrees, especially if i want to do international work?
thanks.
