My school currently has a hybrid curriculum. Under what circumstances would cause med schools to move completely online in the middle of the fall semester?

It happened earlier this year. Increasing COVID cases, stay at home orders, new restrictions in place on gatherings..

Our school switched to fully online in March. We only came in to take anatomy practicals and exams, and then we went in this week for a few days to do the in person stuff we couldn’t do thanks to covid (combat medical skills, clinical skills, and an ultrasound lab).
