Shot in the dark and probably impossible - US medical grad, attending, US medical license.

I get emails about random vacation moonlighting opportunities around the US or in the Caribbean. Probably different in Europe due to regulations and less need...

But I have family in Vienna and would love to do a working vacation nearby moonlighting if that's possible.

Anyone heard of doing moonlighting/per diem work for a week from the US to Austria, Czech Republic or Slovakia? My guess is that it's impossible/illegal but thought I'd ask.

I can only speak of the UK not the rest of europe. You need GMC registration first off and to get that they'll have to examine your credentials. Afaik you'd need to do more years of residency to qualify as staff level anesthesia but im not sure about that

GMC isnt expensive but the equivalence process is and takes time. I think you'd only have to do it once though
Sorry that not much help
