I would love to hear some creative mnemonics, if anyone has any that they would like to share. I would ultimately like to compile a collection, to be used in preparing for board review.

My all-time favorite (which, unfortunately, I did not come up with) is:

"Please Norepinephrine, Make That" --> PNMT

PNMT = Phenylethanolamine-N-Methyl Transferase, the enzyme that converts Norepi to Epi

Here's another one, for the major muscles of the lower leg. (Note: not all muscles are included.)

Tom (tibialis poterior)
Dick (flexor digitorum) and
Harry (flexor hallicus longus) went around the
Calcaneal corner (calcaneal tendon) to get a
Perouneus LBT (for peroneus longus, brevis, and tertius)
During (extensor digitorum)
Half (extensor hallicus longus)
Time (tibialis anterior).

Here's another one for the bones of the foot:

Cal (calcanues) can
Tell us (talus) where there are
Cute boys (cuboid bone) in
Navy (navicular)
Uniforms (the cunieiforms).
