and just another amazing thing, i am by far the youngest in my class, a lot of the girls are in there late 20's,
dont you feel like if you are 28 when you graduate its time to have children and then stay home with your children, its not a time to start a career is it? a lot of the american girls at my school have no clue about life. let me tell you something, you should get married before going to pharm school, because ifyou think you r going to meet someone in pharm school you r sadly mistaken, there are like 30 guys in my class, half of those are already married, the other half are not so "goodlooking" they by 30 you have to have at least 1-2 kids by then. dont think you can wait until 33 to start having kids NOT going to happen.
I don't want to get married, and my life is going just fine (plus or minus things that are out of my control). For whatever reason, many women believe this:
they have to have a man in order to feel complete
they have to be married
Whatever... Those are the same women that drive around in minivans, wear tight, unflattering clothes because they gave up on their figures after getting married and having children (What do they have to work for?), and get jealous of women who are free from "mothering" children and a husband.
I like children, but I don't want any of my own. In America, women do not have to have children(or a marriage) to be considered successful. Seriously, how I am suppose to travel the world on vacation if I'm wearing a fanny pack(unfashionable) and a diaper bag? That would not be posh!
Regarding that goddess comment, people stare at me all day long- my aunt says that I have "grace". When people stare, it makes me feel uncomfortable, not confident. I was raised to believe that no person is better than another person and that people are simply different (I have a strong-willed mother).
Genuine humility(def.- the absence of any feelings of being better than others) is rare, and men will pick up on that.
I'm not sure if you're Muslim, but all of the women that I have met who are Pakistani are also Muslim. So... maybe you could learn how to be more humble, because that trait is transcendent, uncommon, and prized, especially in Islamic cultures-

As for your topic, it doesn't really matter what people think about pharmacy schools if they are comparing accredited programs. I go to school in Louisiana, and the school that I go to has one more year of accreditation, as compared to the other school. Therefore, I think that I am going to a "better" program, because it was given an additional year of accreditation; that's the only reasoning behind my opinion. My school was missing the IPPE component, which was due to one of the most expensive natural disasters in American history- Hurricane Katrina. Therefore, they were only given two years of accreditation in 2006, but that will be resolved, because we have the IPPE component in place.
Both schools, Midwestern and UIC, were given the maximum number of years upon reaccreditation, so they're "equal".

I have to go study now, even though I woke up two hours early due to insomnia. I'll need a nap later...
PS- I've heard that they have nice furniture in Dubai.
