I dont have it right in front of me but I think the mean for surgical was circa 300k for 2020/2021 which is low due to covid.
Not sure if the newest one is out which will be higher now that DPMs are back to elective.

If anyone has data and can PM me that would be great

That is a very good median I think. My experience has been in metro areas pay based on mixed data and not just MGMA. Those mixed ones are usually lower.

Rural jobs were offering based on similar MGMA data in 2021 when I was looking.

2021 survey data is almost $20k less than 2019 data. Don’t accept total compensation packages less than $300k. Our pay in employee positions should be closer to Urology than it is Family Medicine. Though if you don’t take it, one of the other 99 applicants probably will

I haven’t seen most recent data but MGMA is based on compensation surveys which dipped for a lot of specialists in 2020-2021, and it wasn’t due to saturation. I’d bet current MGMA is back up $300k as a national average and in the regions that were there or above that number from a few years ago.

Regions matter. Also as pointed out this is total compensation....so take that into consideration when looking at health care and other stuff.
