memorization for calculations

For those who took the Naplex, is it necessary to memorize all the formulas (ie., Basal Energy Expenditure (BEE) and (TEE), fluid needs (pg 38 on RxPrep))? I know there are some that we should know, like CrCl and IBW.

You should have most of the basic formulas down. BEE is probably not something you will see on the NAPLEX. There is an excellent formula sheet floating around here that I would highly recommend. It isn't too bad to memorize them from that!
 
You should be able to remember all necessary formulas except a few complicated ones such as BEE, TEE. Remember all the basic unit conversion. The best place to learn is Rxprep book.
