I was wondering--a RadOnc obviously plans all the treatment for the radiation, etc but I had two questions:
1. If some medical problems arise during the treatment (or before or after), do RadOncs typically prescribe meds, etc to treat these or do they refer out?
2. I understand that RadOncs do some procedures like Brachytherapy (and more?)--it seems that this requires surgery, however--what exactly is the RadOncs role in the procedures?
