Hi All!

For those of you who have taken the MCAT and DAT, how similar were the bio section concepts on the DAT to the MCAT? I know the format is different but could I just use my MCAT bio review material to study for the DAT or would i be missing something/going into too much depth on some sections.

Any input would be appreciated... thanks :)

MCAT science question are associated with a passage (mostly) and a few free standing questions. DAT is all free standing (which is easier, I think).

The mcat and dat bio study material are very similar and you can use the mcat bio review books to prepare for the dat. BUT, DAT also has evolution, ecology and plant bio that MCAT does not.

hope this helps.
