I answer people's organic chemistry questions here on the threads at SDN. I also run my own website devoted to undergraduate organic chemistry, called "Master Organic Chemistry". As a postdoc, I worked with some of the best chemists in the world at MIT. Now, I want to build the BEST website out there for undergraduates learning organic chemistry. I've put in dozens and dozens of hours (well over 200 hours!) in the past the past 3 months putting together posts, compiling downloadable summary sheets, and collecting useful resources on organic chemistry from the web. I want this to be THE SITE to go to for organic chemisty help.

masterorganicchemistry.wordpress.com

Here are some of the posts I've written in the past month or two, in case you've missed them:

"9 important (but obscure!) nomenclature conventions to know": http://is.gd/cP9De (published today!)

"Reactions of Carbonyl Compounds: The Big Picture" - my most popular post, beautiful downloadable PDF with all the important reactions on it for MCAT/DAT etc. as well as Org 2.
http://is.gd/cP9JR

"Additions to Carbonyls: Summary Sheet" - another downloadable PDF, packed with useful trends and information that makes its way onto exams: http://is.gd/cPa0R

"Introduction to Reactivity and Nomenclature" - from Org 1, a summary of some of the most important reactions, as well as useful hints on nomenclature and boiling point/water solubility analysis. downloadable PDF: http://is.gd/cPa3E

"The Six Categories of Knowledge in Organic Chemistry" More conceptual, but breaks down the different types of knowledge in organic chem and how to think about learning them. http://is.gd/cP9Gu

"Organic Chemistry Study Tips: Learn the Trends". My advice to anyone in an organic chemistry course is to get inside the professor's head. This is the type of stuff they will be asking on the exam: http://is.gd/cParG

"Nucleophile Attacks Electrophile" - The #1 most important tip for understanding reactions in organic chemistry is here. http://is.gd/cPazE

There's a LOT more I didn't mention, especially in-depth articles on common reaction mechanisms. Check out the site, send it to your friends, help me quit my day job so I can do this full time! :) - James
