Following this introductory level course, the physical and occupational therapist will be able to define lymphedema and identify current and key effective interventions according to evidence-based research. At the end of the course, the learner will also be able to teach their patients lymphedema safety factors and risk reduction practices. The learner will also be able to recognize the importance of lymphedema awareness.
