Lumdent vs surgitel micro light?

So I order surgitel loupes yesterday and their light, but then some of my classmates were talking about lumadent?

From what I've read, everyone seems to like lumadent? Can any give me any insight regarding battery life & reliability, and etc?

lumadent is $385
surgitel micro light $445

should I go with the surgitel or go with lumadent? I'm more concerned with the quality as opposed to the price...

I use the lumadent with my Zeiss loupes daily. Battery life is good. I bought two but rarely use the second one on a weekly basis (I use them for everything except hygiene checks and dentures 4.5 days a week). Look up Gordon J. Christensen's Clinicians Report on loupe lights. The best ones were Odyssey Micro from Surgitel, PeriOptix, and Lumadent. The battery of Lumadent lasts 9 hours and the surgitel one last 7.5 hours, the lumadent one is also a little cooler temperature wise. I bought a pair of Lumadent for $350, so far, no complaints. so ask the rep to see if they have student discount.
