I just took my DAT and was unfortunately really thrown off by the bio section. My scores were 21AA, 18TS (19OC, 20GC, 16Bio, 26RC, 24QR, 19PAT). I have already applied this cycle to Tufts, NYU, BU, Touro, Temple, ASDOH, Western, LECOM, and Buffalo and am open to more school suggestions. I can't take the DAT again until November 30th, so does it make sense for me to take it again then or should I wait and see what happens with this cycle?

If I were to reapply, I would definitely take it again before the next cycle.

Thanks.
Do you have any interviews yet?

My practice tests ranged from 20-22AA, 19-21TS, and generally 18-21 on bio with one 17. That's why I'm not exactly sure how the 16 happened. I think I can definitely improve, but maybe I'll wait it out for now.

Sounds like you got an exam heavy on things you may have been weak on. I would still wait it out. Dental schools aren’t going anywhere and you can reapply next year with a stronger DAT and jack up your ECs in the off season if you don’t get in.
