I was just reading some old posts and someone mentioned that their application to some of the Irish med schools was rejected because their LOR were not confidential.

How exactly would AB know if you had sent out the LOR instead of the referee directly sending it out? I know for transcripts, registrars usually have stamps they use, but what could a referee do?

hey macgirl,

referees (in my experience) simply sign the seal of the envelope once they seal it, which has always been enough. that's what mine did for AB. best practice says you don't see your reference letters anyway, but if you really want to, and your referees want you to, they'll simply give you another copy to read.
 
Do they accept letters sent through Interfolio?
