LoR details..........how it all works out

Hi I am new to this sight and have been really impressed with the help that has been freely shared here. I just thought I should throw that out there but anyways to my question. I have a professor right now that I would love to get a LoR from. He is more than willing to do it but I am just trying to work out the logistics of how to store it till I apply. should I get an electronic copy and store it for a couple years on my computer and then upload if myself when I actually apply or what? Excuse my ignorance but I would love some help on how you fellas has done this in the past. Thanks-

Your school may have a service that stores letters of recommendation on your behalf, so check into that first. If not, you can use Interfolio to store your letter of recommendation, and then directly upload it to AADSAS when you apply: http://www.interfolio.com/services/dossier/

interflio works well; they'll send an e-mail with a link to your professor when the letter is ready so he can upload it directly to the website
this way you ensure your professor that the letter he writes is confidential and you can store it securely for years
