LOI length

Is there an appropriate length for an LOI? Should we try to keep it to a page or do you think that a page and a half or so is alright? I realize that they are busy and I don't want the letter to seem burdensome.

hmm i would have thought a page is good....but 1.5 pages...
hmmm. i think it should be ok. afterall it is a LOI.....kinda serious stuff. so dont short change yourself.
