LMU DCOM vs UIWSOM

I’m trying to end up in NC or FL for residency (family is there so travel would be feasible).
I’d go to LMU-DCOM at the Knoxville campus.
I have never been to TX so not familiar. I’m from SC.

Hey CardioK- If by LMU you mean Lincoln Memorial University, that place is not the best school. I am friends with one of their faculty members personally. I'm not trying to be rude, just trying to help a brother out here. You'll be a decent doc if you graduate and match, but they won't make it easy for you.

Now UIWSOM might be just as bad, I know nothing about that school. Just letting ya know that LMU students tend to struggle, and you have no guarantee of matching well. It'll be an uphill battle.

But, if UIWSOM is a similar institution, I guess i'd just shoot for being close to family.
