Jacobi Med Ctr, located in the tree lined Pelham section of the Bronx, NY is seeking a PGY 2 Chief Resident in General Practice. The chief position will give an opportunity to concentrate in specific areas of dentistry. Previous chiefs have taken this time to gain experience in pediatric dentistry. Three chiefs have gone on to pediatric residency training programs in the last 5 years.

Chief responsibilities will include:
-leadership role in the GPR program
-coordinating lecture, on call, and clinic schedules
-coordinating active GP operating room program
-research and case report opportunities
-direct reporting to the program director and chairman
-opportunity to participate in other program activities at JMC (pedMFS,anesthesiology)

Successful candidates will have completed a GPR or AEGD by 6/30/2010
