Kaplan and prereqs

Has anyone taken a KAPLAN course before finishing the prereqs convered in the course? Did it help? Or did you find yourself struggling through material that you were unfamiliar with (i.e. organic chemistry or biology)? I ask because I am planning on taking the course somtime in Spring '05. I will be taking organic chemistry in summer 05, so by the time I start and finish KAPLAN I will still not have taken organic chemistry. I plan on applying for class of '06, so timing is everything. What say you?
