So I took the LMSW and passed yesterday. It's not too exciting because I've had my provisional license for all this time, so it's not like it gained me any new privileges, it just allowed me to keep the ones I've already been granted. I waited until just before my year expired because I was putting off gathering CEUs.
I've been chipping away at those 4000 hours needed in my state for my LCSW.
We are looking at big medicaid cuts in our state. They are looking at reducing the reimbursement rate for services. Right now it's at 95-90% of medicare, but they are looking at reducing it to 75%. They are already talking layoffs for a lot of our Medicaid DHS employees and so many more things. So yes. Fun times here locally.
What's up with all y'all?
